Veterinary Technician
Are you a CVT or experienced technician looking to work in a modern, progressive and growing practice? Pet Check Urgent Care is hiring! Our practice in Washington Township, NJ takes an innovative approach to the delivery of care to both well and sick small animals. We put emphasis on the client’s convenience, not ours, and accept only call-ahead appointments during our 9am-9pm, 7 days a week schedule. When you join our team, you’ll work with a supportive, talented group of veterinarians and veterinary staff.What You’ll Be Doing:
- Educating pet owners
- Participating in the care of well and sick animals
- Performing in-house blood work, X-rays, and ultrasound imaging
- Administering vaccines
- Assisting with surgeries
- Administering sedation and anesthesia during procedures
- Dispensing medications
- Preparing instruments and animals for procedures
- Observing and reporting animal behavior
- Documenting encounters in our electronic records
