Associate Veterinarian

Pet Check Urgent Care is seeking associate veterinarians to join our newly opened, progressive, and expanding practice! Our philosophy is based on delivering care at the convenience of the client and meeting their pet’s needs when they need it. Our state-of-the-art, brand-new facility in Washington Township, New Jersey, has all the amenities of a modern veterinary facility, including digital X-rays, a complete in-house lab, full preventive care services, and more. Our mission is to provide a model of comprehensive, transparent, and convenient care to our well and sick pets. New graduates and experienced Veterinarians are encouraged to apply.

Veterinary Technician

Are you a CVT or experienced technician looking to work in a modern, progressive and growing practice? Pet Check Urgent Care is hiring! Our practice in Washington Township, NJ takes an innovative approach to the delivery of care to both well and sick small animals. We put emphasis on the client’s convenience, not ours, and accept only call-ahead appointments during our 9am-9pm, 7 days a week schedule. When you join our team, you’ll work with a supportive, talented group of veterinarians and veterinary staff.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Educating pet owners
  • Participating in the care of well and sick animals
  • Performing in-house blood work, X-rays, and ultrasound imaging
  • Administering vaccines
  • Assisting with surgeries
  • Administering sedation and anesthesia during procedures
  • Dispensing medications
  • Preparing instruments and animals for procedures
  • Observing and reporting animal behavior
  • Documenting encounters in our electronic records
